Elles jouent un r\u00f4le majeur dans les Economies et la r\u00e9duction de la pauvret\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cependant, il existe de nombreux obstacles \u00e0 leurs cr\u00e9ations et leurs d\u00e9veloppements, parmi lesquels figure au premier rang le probl\u00e8me de financement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A cet effet, un programme d&#8217;actions pour la promotion et le financement des PME dans l&#8217;UEMOA, a \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9 par le Conseil des Ministres dans sa cr\u00e9ation <strong>n\u00b016\/2003 du 22 d\u00e9cembre 2003<\/strong> qui recommande de cr\u00e9er un environnement plus incitatif pour le financement des PME par le syst\u00e8me financier actuel et sugg\u00e8re notamment de: &#8220;instituer des fonds de garantie d\u00e9di\u00e9s aux PME dans les pays de l&#8217;UEMOA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Financi\u00e8re de Garantie Interbancaire du Burkina<\/em> (<strong>SOFIGIB<\/strong>), Etablissement Financier dont la politique g\u00e9n\u00e9rale est de g\u00e9rer des fonds de garantie, a \u00e9t\u00e9 constitu\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#8217;initiative des \u00e9tablissements de cr\u00e9dits (Banques et Etablissements Financiers) et de l&#8217;Etat burkinab\u00e8, pour faciliter l&#8217;acc\u00e8s au financement des PME.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En accordant des garanties, la SOFIGIB a ainsi pour ambition d&#8217;\u00eatre un outil de:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n \t<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">d\u00e9veloppement au service des promoteurs des PME qui jouent un r\u00f4le essentiel dans l&#8217;\u00e9conomie burkinab\u00e8 en termes d&#8217;emplois et de revenus;<\/li>\n \t<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">d\u00e9veloppement au service des institutions de financement, pour leur permettre de conquerir progressivement le nouveau march\u00e9 des Petites et Moyennes Entreprises \/ Tr\u00e8s Petites Entreprises
